Always being interested in fashion design and trends I decided to attend Continental School of Beauty in 1984. After working at a couple of salons in the beginning, I settled in at Julies Hair Design in the Niagara Frontier Mall in the city of Lockport, New York for Freda Palia, whom later became my mother-in-law. After working for Freda 18years at various locations, and owning my own salon and spa for 15, my husband and I are settling down at our new cozy salon back where I once began my career!
I have a diverse list of clients, and my array of talents gives me the ability to create stunning bridal, and special occasion up-do’s. In addition to specializing in formal styling techniques I have mastered skills in dimensional hair cutting and multiple coloring techniques. I hold various certifications and regularly spend time participating in continuing my education.
Throughout my career I have been fortunate enough to work along side of so much talent…the energy and desire to keep things new and fresh, fuels my passion for a career that I love and am grateful for! I look forward to this next chapter of my hair journey…

I began my career in the beauty industry in 1988. Over the past 19 years I have had the opportunity to build so many relationships in the Lockport area both as an employee and as a salon owner. Looking forward, as I continue to grow, I am excited to build new relationships with the amazing team at Iron Locks Hair Company.
Over the course of my career I have advanced my cutting skills, color knowledge, and techniques with the support and educational opportunities offered through Lanza, Framesi, DiFabba, as well as a week long study at the Vidal Sassoon academy in Toronto. I also cannot discount the fact that I have worked with, who I think is, some of the most talented stylists in our area.
I personally believe that there is no greater reward than when a client says to me, "I trust you completely." As a professional, we must give them the best of ourselves in return...
